Our providers at United Medical and Aesthetics believe in offering a wide array of cosmetic treatments for men and women who want to look and feel their best. This is why our practice is dedicated to achieving results with the attention and care of our experienced team. Our providers are here to educate you on the options available for the hair, face, and body at our state-of-the-art facility, serving those in and around the Wilmington, North Carolina area. Let’s look at some frequently asked questions about the services provided at our skin medical aesthetic med spa!
A medical spa, also known as a med spa, provides a variety of non-surgical cosmetic treatments for the skin and body. Licensed healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses, typically perform these services. Medical spas offer a more clinical approach to traditional day spas and focus on enhancing one’s appearance through medical-grade treatments.
At United Medical and Aesthetics, we offer a wide range of skin medical aesthetic services, including Botox injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, sclerotherapy for spider veins, and much more! When you consult with our providers, you can find out how we can assist you in looking your best and feeling confident in your skin!
Physicians are professionals dedicated to the hair, skin, nails, and body, but they are not required at a medical spa. However, our providers are certified to offer aesthetic services and have the training and experience patients deserve when administering certain treatments in the office. We are skilled at creating a custom skincare routine for your specific needs and goals, and you do not always need a referral to a Physician to address your needs with a medical provider.
Absolutely! Men can benefit from the same skin medical aesthetic services as women. Our providers are experienced in working with male patients to address their unique concerns and achieve optimal results. Whether reducing fine lines and wrinkles, treating hyperpigmentation, or enhancing facial features, our team is here to help men look and feel their best.
This depends on the individual and the treatment being performed. Some treatments may require multiple sessions to achieve desired results, while others may show immediate improvement after one session. During your consultation, our providers will discuss your goals with you and give you a timeline for when to expect the changes.
United Medical and Aesthetics is here to help! Call (910) 226-0355 to talk to one of our providers about your goals and the services that will get you there! Our office is located at 1908 Eastwood Road, Suite 321, and is open to new patients.
