We have updated some of our policies to improve your experience at United Medical & Aesthetics.
REPRESENTATIVES AND OTHERS
Representatives and others who wish to meet with either the physician assistant, Aleta, or the practice manager will need to make an appointment. Please note that if we are booked up, meetings may be held with the practice manager in the absence of Aleta. This allows us to better prioritize the needs of our patients and ensure that we are able to give our full attention to whoever may be sitting in our chair.
TRAINING WITH ALETA
Aleta is now offering training for various lasers in our practice. To schedule an in-depth training, please contact our practice manager for additional information, including pricing, dates, and more.
ARRIVAL AND LATENESS
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow adequate “check-in” time. If you are more than 5 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or need to be rescheduled. We will do our best to accommodate you; however, in some cases, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment to avoid inconveniencing other patients. If we do not hear from you at least 15 minutes into your appointment time, you will be considered a “no-show,” and your account will be charged the appropriate no-show fee.
RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION
As a courtesy to our practice and the patients we serve, we ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Note: For Monday appointments, the 24-hour cancellation notice would apply to Fridays.
If your appointment is rescheduled or canceled less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a fee of $50. In the event of a no-show, depending on the type of scheduled appointment, you will either be charged $50 (consult, follow-up) or 20% of the scheduled service (filler, tox, microneedling, laser, etc). For tox, the total will be based on your average tox units. For a C02 treatment no-show, 20% of your paid deposit will be kept for the no-show fee. If your account accrues multiple no-show violations, your account will be suspended, and we will refuse future treatment. We understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances arise. However, we have a very tight schedule to manage, and with proper notice, we can utilize our cancellation list efficiently and fill the vacancy with waiting patients. Your understanding and compliance are appreciated!
REFUNDS/EXCHANGES
All purchased services and products are non-refundable. In the event of a return, a credit will be added to your account to use toward other products/services at our office.
COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES
As our practice continues to grow, we will be implementing a strict protocol regarding communication to give our patients the best possible care. You can always call or text us at (252) 876-3021 as this phone is always with either the practice manager or Aleta and will be the best point of contact for any need. For emergencies, please reach out to the number above. If you do not receive an answer or call back within 30 minutes, at that point, please CALL the number provided to you at your appointment. This will be Aleta’s personal cell phone. We are always here for your needs, concerns, and questions; however, we do ask that you remain courteous and conscious when reaching out to Aleta directly as she sees patients in and out daily and keeps a full schedule. Please refer to our office number first to ensure Aleta’s phone stays open and available for patient emergencies.
