ALETA SLOAN, PA-C
Aleta Sloan, PA-C, LSO, has built a distinguished career over her three decades in medicine, where she has cultivated a deep understanding of various medical disciplines. Her extensive experience in Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine allows her to approach her aesthetic patients with a comprehensive perspective, ensuring that all aspects of health are considered in her treatments.
She is the owner and founder of United Medical And Aesthetics who is proud to have been the first PA to have privileges in Eastern North Carolina in 1991 after graduating at age 22 from one of the original PA schools in Baltimore, Maryland. She always wanted to be in the field of Dermatology, but in the early 90’s there were no Dermatology practices in New Bern, North Carolina.
Aleta’s passion for aesthetics shines through in her approach to skin treatments, where she emphasizes enhancing natural beauty rather than creating an overdone look. This philosophy is rooted in her commitment to providing results that not only meet, but exceed patient expectations while maintaining a focus on safety and long-term satisfaction. Lisa Price
Lisa joined UM&A in 2024 after spending 10 years working in a plastic surgeon’s office in Richmond, VA, where she administered chemical peels of varying depths, many types of laser treatments (including IPL), a multitude of laser resurfacing procedures, laser hair removal, microneedling RF treatments, and more. She trained at the Institute of Advanced Medical Aesthetics and then received her Master Aesthetics Licensure at American Spirit Institute focusing on anti-aging and improving the quality and texture of the skin.
She is well-versed in the layers of the skin, skin conditions, product ingredients, and how those ingredients work in the skin. Lisa is familiar with working on skin of color.
Lisa graduated from UNCW with a Bachelor’s in English and spent 11 years teaching but found her way into this industry and fell in love with being able to manipulate the skin into behaving with quality products and specialized skin care plans for each individual client. Outside of work, Lisa loves spending time with family and friends, going to dinner, and seeing live music. She loves being near the water, so enjoying beach time year-round is part of what Lisa loves about being back in Wilmington.
Allyson
Plastic Surgeon
Allyson received her BSN from the University of Mary Washington in VA. She began her nursing career in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room before transitioning into Surgical Nursing. For over four years, Allyson has specialized in Plastic Surgery, where she discovered her true passion for aesthetics and wellness.
Allyson combines her clinical expertise with a holistic approach to help patients look and feel their best inside and out. She offers a wide range of treatments, from advanced aesthetic procedures to comprehensive wellness services, including Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), GLP-1 weight management, and peptide therapy.
Allyson loves guiding patients through their personal transformations, helping them enhance their natural beauty, restore balance, and achieve renewed confidence. She takes pride in building strong, trusting relationships with each patient and makes their safety and comfort a priority.
Nicole Roche
Nicole Roche was born in eastern North Carolina and spent her summers at Wrightsville Beach a place she loved so much that she made it her permanent home. After earning a degree in early childhood education from East Carolina University, she moved to Wrightsville Beach and never looked back.
With a background in pharmaceuticals and extensive knowledge of medical-grade skin care, Nicole has a deep understanding of health and wellness. She is also highly active in the local fitness community and has a passion for travel and the outdoors. Whether she’s exploring new destinations, hitting the gym, or enjoying a coastal sunrise, she thrives on movement and adventure.
When she’s home, you’ll often find Nicole walking her dog around the Loop in Wrightsville Beach, embracing the coastal lifestyle she loves. She is married to Greg Roche and is the proud mother of two wonderful kids. Parker a Sophomore at NCSU and Shelby who is currently a Senior at New Hanover High School
Lindsay began
AESTHETICIAN/LASER TECHNICIAN
Lindsay began her nursing career as a Cardiothoracic Nurse at Duke University Hospital after graduating from East Carolina University. While she gained invaluable experience in surgery and recovery, her true passion was found in aesthetic and cosmetic nursing. For five years, she worked closely with plastic surgeons in the operating and recovery room, and for the last three years has specialized in aesthetic injectables.
Lindsay finds great joy in helping patients look and feel their best by enhancing their natural beauty. She believes in setting realistic, achievable goals and loves seeing the boost of confidence that comes as patients progress on their journey. Her caring, compassionate approach ensures every patient feels comfortable, heard, and supported throughout their experience.
