Meet Aleta Sloan, founder, owner, and chief practitioner for United Medical and Aesthetics. She attended PA school in Baltimore Maryland after obtaining her Bachelors of Science at McDaniel College, formerly known as Western Maryland College, in 1989. She graduated from one of the original PA programs in the country and at the age of 23 and became the first PA in Eastern NC. She has maintained her privileges at Carolina East Medical Center for 30 years and has committed herself to serve her community in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Cardiology.
With her love and passion for real food, running, and believing in her heart that it is better to pay the grocer than the doctor, she feels compelled to help anyone who crosses her path. Aleta’s Training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Aesthetics are uniquely fashioned for you to feel empowered, healthy, and educated so you can achieve your goals. Whether it’s nutritional counseling using your own genetic information via 23andMe, a scientific approach to vitamin supplementation, cardiovascular health, immune functioning, and weight loss she has the skills.
Her love for Aesthetic Medicine has driven her to take countless hours of courses to further her education. She is now trained and certified in injectables such as dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Aleta is certified by Aesthetics Advancement which is the leader and premier aesthetic trainer offering in-depth courses, Allergan Aesthetics, and Empire Medical. She has also invested in solo training with top Allergan injectors in North Carolina. Aleta is excited to continue her path in Aesthetic Medicine and recently added 2 of the top laser in the United States for skin resurfacing and micro-needling with radiofrequency. She looks forward to helping you with all your needs!

Good morning, everybody. I’ve got exciting news that I’ve been waiting to share. I’ve been asked to speak for Cartessa for 2024 in the tour called The Best in Aesthetics. I’ve been queened the laser queen, which sometimes you can’t pick what you’re queened as, but you are what you are. So, I have to say that I love that name. I do a lot of other things, but lasers are clearly, and skin quality, I think brings most beauty to anyone regardless of wrinkles and saggy skin. If you’ve got good quality skin, that’s the best. Being queened the Laser Queen, I’ve been asked by Cartessa, which I’m super flattered to be part of their 2024 Best in Aesthetics Tour, and we’re going to be speaking first in Raleigh, March 23rd at the Umstead. So, mark that on your calendars. I’m going to be speaking about how to start at a successful med spa and base your packages and practice on value, not beating down to the lowest price. You have to base your practice or your services on value, so you can’t be compared to anybody else. So, I talked about strategies about how to do that and a little bit of laser stuff in there. So, thank you Cartessa, that I couldn’t be more excited and I’m looking forward to 2024 traveling across the country, speaking about the best thing I love lasers and skin quality. Bye!
